NQ Comfrey is Part Nerada Park
Life is a journey and NQ Comfrey has been swept up in the larger journey of our lives. The larger journey is Nerada Park, a perma-culture paradise we are moving towards. Nerada Park is also the home of NQ Comfrey. However, whereas NQ comfrey ‘was born’ for nearly 10 years now, Nerada Park is still ‘prenatal’
Nerada Park is a 11.4 acre property near Innisfail, a natural Park near National Park, an ecosystem island in a sea of agriculture. We will offer camping and other attractions to tourists surrounded by rainforest and perma-culture gardens. These gardens produce our comfrey and also organic market products which are on offer at the cafe & shop in the main building and also in nearby towns and markets. We are in the process of making these plans a reality as we transform the disused industrial property into a tranquil space transforming industrial buildings into post-industrial beauty that expresses strength and endurance with thick brick walls and big steel beams. Nerada Park was bought by Stefan, Rebecca and Stephanie in December 2020.

Bern is the capital of Switzerland. Stefan Aeberhard, the main proprietor, was born in Bern and he is known as a 'Berner' in German. It so happens that the farm is bounded by Berner creek along 500m on the Northern side. Whether devine signage or pure coincidence, it is an interesting and pleasing fact.
